Reward offered in township armed robbery, pistol-whipping

Brandon Twp.- A reward is offered by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office to anyone with information regarding a recent armed assault in the Clarkston Lakes Mobile Home Park.
According to police reports, at about 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 14, a 29-year-old man was walking home from work when he was approached by three younger males in a vacant lot in the 3800 block of Redbud. All three suspects were wearing ski masks and dark-colored hoodies and were armed with handguns.
One of the suspects pistol-whipped the victim in the head and the victim managed to disarm him of the gun, an unloaded black Wesson .357 magnum with an 8-inch barrel. After the victim took the gun away, the suspects fled to the east and west.
The suspects are described as young, thin, white males, two of whom were approximately 5?6? tall, and the third suspect being about 6?1? in height.
The victim was treated for several head lacerations by fire department medics.
‘This is a horrific crime,? said OCSO Detective Chris Pacholski. ‘I hope we obtain information from anyone who knows anything about it, so we can catch the suspects and this doesn’t happen to anyone else.?
