The sledding hill at Jessie Decker Park was getting rave reviews from adults and kids alike, including Jake and Connor Posey, pictured here, who went slip-sledding down its slope – despite temperatures that hovered around 20 degrees – earlier this week.
Although the sledding hill at Civic Center Park on Joslyn Road no longer exists due to construction of the new amphitheater, the hill at Orion Township’s Jessie Decker Park, located on Squirrel Road south of Silverbell, offers a comparable alternative. Photos by Laura Colvin
