Over 100 youngsters took to the courses at Paint Creek Country Club July 22.
Though the heat and humidity beat down on the players, everyone seemed in high spirits despite scores. That is not to say the scores were poor, as children as young as five drove chipped and putt their way to under par.
‘Golf is a game that teaches golfers not only golf skills, but life skills such as honesty and integrity,? said Paint Creeks Golf Pro Mike O’Rorke. ‘Paint Creek Country Club’s Junior Program instills these skills and lets our youngsters be competitive and allows them to have fun at the same time.?
