Mom-to-Mom connection comes to Goodrich

Goodrich High School was the place to be for a good bargain on Nov. 6.
The GHS Class of 2012 hosted their biannual Mom-to-Mom Sale. The event brought in more than $2,800 for the Class of 2012 and attracted more than 600 people to shop for clothes, toys, and other items. The sale, which was the sixth held by the Class of 2012 originated in 2009.
‘We were just thinking of ways to generate some funds for prom,? said Class of 2012 cosponsor and GHS teacher Sally Dickinson. “And now it’s one of the bigger ones in the area.?
A total of 94 vendors filled the GHS gym, cafeteria, and surrounding hallways to sell items. Overall, the sale received a very positive response. ‘I think the Mom-to-Mom Sale went very smoothly,? said Adele Perry, GHS Senior and Class of 2012 President. ‘We have very high standards.?
The next Mom-to-Mom Sale is planned for March 10, 2012 at Goodrich High School, 8029 S. Gale Road.
