The Lake Orion softball team won a pair of games on Monday at home against Troy Athens by identical scores of 10-0.
The wins vaulted the lady Dragons to a 9-2 record. They are ranked fourth in the state in Division 1, the best ranking of any Oakland County team.
Their losses came recently against two non-league opponents in games that Coach Joe Woityra thought the Dragons could have won.
This weekend the Dragons will travel to the west side of the state for a tournament against some of the top squads in Michigan. Woityra said the games will be a good test for the team.
