During Saturday’s Football for a Cure event, it wasn’t just the varsity Gridiron heroes raising money for patient services at McLaren Breast Center and McLaren Cancer Institute – Clarkston.
Leadership students from Clarkston High School made snow cones and cotton candy and sold them for $1 each to raise money.
Cheerleaders sold bracelets and walked around with football helmets gathering donations while dancers from the Pom Pom team painted faces.
Students also sold the Football for a Cure 2014 T-shirts for the low price of $10.
The complete tally and donation will be given later in the football season.
