Aug. 13: Oxford Village police received a report at 10:37 p.m. that a caller had found a medium-sized black and brown dog, possibly a black lab, with no collar on Silverbell/Lapeer Rd. Police advised the caller to post a photo of the dog on the Facebook page “For the Love of Louie.”
Aug. 12: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called by a 71-year-old man from Oxford at 12:44 p.m. who reported someone had slashed the tire of his pickup truck and the truck bed cover between the hours of 11 p.m. on Aug 10 and 1:00 a.m. Aug 11, while it was parked at his home located on the 200 block of W. Drahner Rd. The cover was valued at $400, while the tire replacement was valued at $159. Sheriff’s deputies advised the man and filed a report.
Aug. 12: A 50 year-old woman from Oxford called Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies called Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies at 6:10 a.m. to report that the rear window of her vehicle had been broken out while parked outside her residence on the 700 block of Augusta Boulevard. A report was filed.
Aug. 10: Oxford Village police were informed at 8:54 a.m. that a set of keys were found on the bike path located at Pontiac Rd. and Drahner Rd.
