By day, it’s a church, but on Saturday night, Oxford’s Christ the King was transformed into an elegant ballroom.
Almost 200 folks of all ages donned their most dapper duds and danced the night away at the church’s annual Frostbite Ball.
The Detroit-based Jump Street Swing Band kept the tunes coming as couples did everything from jitterbug to polka.
To help things along, a pair of instructors from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Bloomfield Hills gave some lessons and even performed a few dancing demonstrations.
Any way you could send me a digital file of the photo in the paper of the ballroom dancing couple?
