Oxford’s Lady Wildcats varsity basketball team hosted its final home game of the season Feb. 23 against Clarkston, ultimately losing to the Wolves with a 46-36 score.

Top scorers of the night were Madelyn Morris with 15 points, and Monae Evans with 12 points and eight rebounds.

Top scorers for Clarkston were Kayla Luchenbach with 14 points, and Maddie Beck and Mary McKillop with eight points each.

The team is 8-13 overall.

The team heads to Lake Orion High (495 E. Scripps Rd.) on Wednesday, March 1 for round one of district play.
