SYNOPSIS

Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on March 8, 2017 at the Oxford Township Hall Meeting Room.

PRESENT: Supervisor Dunn, Clerk Wright, Treasurer Ferrari, Trustee Curtis, Trustee Nichols, Trustee Payne

ABSENT: Trustee Durr

The following actions were taken:

Approved the Agenda as presented.

Approved the Consent Agenda as presented.

Approved to open the Public Hearing at 7:09 p.m. to discuss the establishment of the Cedar Lake, Long Lake, and Tan Lake Special Assessment District.

Approved to close the Public Hearing at 8:01 p.m. to discusss the establishment of the Cedar Lake, Long Lake, and Tan Lake Special Assessment District.

Approved Resolution #2 to establish the Cedar Lake, Long Lake, and Tan Lake Special Assessment District.

Authorized Oxford Township Parks and Recreation to purchase property identified as parcel 04-30-426-012 and parcel 04-30-426-013 in the amount of $130,000.00 and to allow for a $130,000.00 loan from the Charter Township of Oxford Building Permit Fund in the amount of $130,000.00 to be repaid over a five (5) year period at a three (3)% fixed interest rate.

Awarded the Lakeville Road Water Main project to Superior Excavating in the bid amount of $1,518,442.50 and to allocate $1,550,000.00 from the Water Fund to pay for the project.

Approved a not to exceed amount of $112,500.00 for construction costs as submitted by Sharpe Engineering for the Lakeville Road Water Main project.

Approved a not to exceed amount of $53,400.00 for engineering services as submitted by Sharpe Engineering for the Mickelson Well site project.

Approved to rescind the July 8, 2015 Township Board motion to approve funding for the Lake Villa Water Main project at an estimated cost of $1.6 million.

Approved a Resolution to meet MS4 Post-Construction Storm Water Runoff Program requirements as presented.

Approved to set a First Reading and possible adoption to amend Section 8.10 of the Charter Township of Oxford Zoning Ordinance 67A.

Approved the rezoning for parcel 04-26-302-021 from C-1 Local Commercial zoning and R-1 Single Family zoning to C-2 General Commercial zoning.
