Board Meeting Synopsis

The Addison Township Board; its elected members are Supervisor Pearson, Clerk Bennett, Treasurer Fisher, Trustee King, Trustee Newby, Trustee Gierak and Trustee Senft held a meeting on March 20, 2017, at 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard MI 48367. The following action was taken:

Approved agenda with the following amendments; Addition to agenda, the Resolution that adopts the first amendment to the Verizon Land Lease Agreement and designates the Supervisor to act as the Township’s Agent, and also to remove agenda item #3. Information Technology Service Agreement or Equipment.

Approved the consent agenda consisting of: February 13, 2017 minutes, bills as paid for February 2017, Kingsbury Country Day School Fair, Renewal of MMRMA policy, resolution designating April as child abuse prevention and awareness month, appoint Stephanie Boegner as a Park Ranger for 3 yr. term, renew appointments: Zoning Board of Appeals, three- 3 yr terms; Tony Spina, Trevor Hayward, and Robert Dewitt alternate, Park Committee one- 3 yr term, Larry Douglas and appoint as alternate to OCACC (OCTV) Board, Jacob Newby; elected term.

Approved the resolution adopting the general appropriations for the fiscal year 2017/2018.

Authorized spring clean up; May 13, 2017 from 8am to 1pm and its expenditure.

Authorized forwarding possible text amendment to 4.19 5a to Planning Commission.

Approved the resolution that adopts the first amendment to the Verizon Land Lease Agreement and designates the Supervisor to act as the township’s agent
