April 15: A man living near the 50 block of Moyers St. called Oxford Village Police to report that he had seen three children, between 3 and 5-years-old playing in the street at 6:31 p.m. Village Police were unable to locate the children upon arrival.
April 15: Oxford Village Police were called to the 100 block of Glaspie St., where a resident stated a suspicious vehicle had parked in the driveway at 9:01 a.m. Upon arrival, Village Police found a woman parked in the driveway. The woman told Village Police she had pulled over in order to connect to bluetooth.
April 14: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called by a 36-year-old Oxford Township man at 3:21 p.m. The man reported that he had found valuables missing from a safe in his home, located in the 1000 block of Fountain View Ln. The man stated he had found silver bars (valued at approx. $4,000 total), two white gold rings and around $200 in coins missing from the safe. The incident is believed to have occurred between March 12 at 3 p.m. and April 12 at 2:30 p.m. A report was written.
April 13: A 72-year-old Oxford woman came to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Oxford Substation at 1:36 p.m. to report she had recently been notified by a local accounting agency that her taxes had already been filed. A statement was taken.
