Jack Simmons Pelton died peacefully May 20, 2017 at Palm Gardens in Ocala, Florida. He was 96.

Beloved husband of the late Pauline (nee Gauthier) and Catherine (nee McDonnell). Loving father of Eileen (Larry Dittmar), Eric Pelton (Melody), Roger Pelton (Tracie), Julie (Charles Halash), and Paulette Marie Johnston; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Jack graduated from Pontiac High School in 1939 and served in World War II as part of the United States Army.

He enjoyed raising his family in Pontiac and Oxford. Jack retired from General Motors Truck & Coach Pontiac and was a lifelong UAW member. See more at https://www.forevermissed.com/jackpelton.

Interment will be at Oxford Township Cemetery on June 12 at 1 p.m.
