Nearly 40 veterans representing the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines visited Leonard Elementary Friday morning for the fifth-grade’s annual Veterans Day celebration.

Students interviewed veterans about their experiences, then honored them with music and words of thanks and praise.
