The Christmas season kicked off in downtown Oxford Friday night with the annual Soup & Sweet Stroll. A little more than 900 tickets were sold for the event, according to DDA Director Glenn Pape.
Folks gathered in Centennial Park to listen to holiday songs performed by Oxford choir students and watch the lighting of the village Christmas tree.
