Jan. 18: An employee of a youth center maintenence building located in the 800 block of James Hunt Dr. reported a red 2008 Chrysler Towne and Country to be missing, along with a 10-gallon gas tank, from the building’s parking lot at 9:04 a.m. Deputies had received a call the previous night regarding a truant from this same location and the employee allegedly said it was possible that the truant, a 17-year-old boy from Detroit, had taken the vehicle with him when he left, although this could not be confirmed by deputies. Deputies were unable to locate the missing vehicle and it was entered into the LEIN system as a stolen vehicle.
Jan. 17: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a youth center located in the 900 block of Drahner Rd. around 11:30 p.m., where a 17-year-old boy from Detroit had allegedly left the center without permission and was considered to be truant. The boy was described in the report to have short black hair, to be 5 foot, 8 inches in height and to weigh approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray do-rag, a white shirt, a dark blue or black coat and boots of an unknown color. Deputies were unable to locate the boy. A report was filed.
Jan. 16: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 100 block of Hosner Rd. at 1:08 a.m., where a possible domestic assault was said to be taking place. Upon arrival, deputies were met by a 24-year-old man from Oxford Township who told them he had been having an argument with his 24-year-old girlfriend but said that allegedly no violence had taken place. The man was noted by deputies to be “calm and cooperative” and the couple agreed to seperate for the remainder of the night. After the man left, the girlfriend told deputies that he had allegedly became physical with her several days earlier and was observed to have bruises on her left arm. She refused to write a statement.
