Feb. 12: Oxford Village Police were dispatched to an apartment located in the 90 block of S. Washington Rd. at 2:11 p.m. in response to the “potential overdose” of an Oxford woman. Upon arrival, police found an Oxford man administering CPR and were advised by him that “it was possible” the woman had overdosed on heroin. Police and the Oxford Fire Department each administered Narcan to the woman and she was transported to McLaren Oakland.
Feb. 8: A 25-year-old Oxford woman came into the Oxford substation of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at 6:17 p.m. to report fraudulent transactions that had appeared on her credit report. The woman had received an email on Jan. 25 from a credit monitoring website stating that two companies had recently opened collections on her accounts for unpaid balances totalling more than $2,000. The woman told sheriff’s deputies she had attempted to inform these companies that the two accounts were fraudulent, but was told that she would need to file a police report before the charges could be disputed. The woman was provided with an incident number and advised by sheriff’s deputies to monitor her bank statements.
Feb. 2: Oxford Village Police were dispatched to an apartment located in the 50 block of Crawford St., at 9 p.m., where a 27-year-old man had allegedly overdosed. Upon arrival, deputies found the man’s 61-year-old mother administering CPR. According to the report, the woman told police the man overdosed on cocaine. Police were unable to locate any substances in the man’s room. The man was transported to Crittenton Hospital.
