April 30: Oxford Village Police were called to the first block of Stanton Rd. at 9:20 p.m., where a man was found to be unresponsive, possibly from a heroin overdose. Anti-narcotics were administered to the man, at which point he regained signs of consciousness and awareness, according to the report. The man was transported to McClaren Hospital.

April 27: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were patrolling the 40 block of N. Washington Rd. around 12:57 a.m. when they observed a white sedan parked and running near a dumpster. According to the report, deputies saw two men standing outside the vehicle who quickly jumped inside the vehicle as deputies approached. Allegedly, a “strong odor of marijuana” could be smelled as deputies walked towards the vehicle. The vehicle had two passengers, a 24-year-old Clinton Twp. man and a 27-year-old Roseville man, along with a driver, a 24-year-old woman from Ferndale seated inside. When deputies asked why the area smelled like marijuana, no one answered according to the report. Eventually, after deputies were unable to locate marijuana, the Ferndale woman allegedly admitted to deputies that “there’s none left.” While deputies did not locate marijuana, deputies allegedly found a disposable coffee cup nearly filled with beer located under the front passenger seat, an empty six-pack of beer located near the center console of the vehicle and a purple reusable travel cup filled with beer. The female driver and the 27-year-old Roseville man were each issued a ticket for possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle. The Clinton Twp. man, who was not found to have any illegal substances on his person, was not issued a ticket.

April 23: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 3000 block of W. Drahner Rd. at 5:37 p.m. in response to a mental health call. A 37-year-old Oxford man who resides at the location had allegedly said his doctor is a “terrorist” and had made multiple threats towards the doctor. When Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the home, the man was found to be cooperative and was transported to a local crisis center without incident.
