On Saturday afternoon, 18 vessels participated in the Third Annual Boat Parade on Addison Township’s Lakeville Lake.

Twelve of the boats registered for the decorating contest, sponsored by The Celtic Knot, Wright’s Corner Market, Louie’s Food & Spirits and the Bartlett family.

Winning first place in the most original category was the Donato family for its pontoon boat decorated as a Donato Landscape truck. They won a gift bag donated by the Bartletts.

Second place went to Kelly Jones and her team for their boat decorated like an ice cream truck. They won a $25 gift certificate from Louie’s.

In the most gorgeous category, Nicole Phillips and her friends won first place for their pirate ship. They won two $25 gift certificates from The Celtic Knot and Wright’s Corner Market.

Second place went to the Weatherheads and Landuyts for their patriotic theme. They won a $25 gift certificate from The Celtic Knot.
