A July 1 report concerning a suspicious vehicle on S. Glaspie St. led Oxford Village Police to discover a variety of suspected illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
When police arrived on scene, they found two people inside the vehicle – a 38-year-old Auburn Hills woman and a 52-year-old Orion Township man.
According to the report, officers confiscated some suspected heroin, approximately 2 grams of suspected cocaine and two small rocks of suspected crack cocaine.
Drug paraphernalia was also found, according to the report, including two syringes, a spoon with cotton and suspected heroin residue on it and a glass crack pipe.
All of the suspected drugs and paraphernalia, with the exception of the crack pipe, were found in a makeup case belonging to the Auburn Hills woman, the report stated.
She told police “she did not realize she had that in there and admitted to using heroin earlier in the evening.” She told officers “she (had been) clean until today when she started to use again.”
The woman was arrested for possession of heroin, while the Orion man was arrested for two outstanding warrants out of Oakland County – a Friend of the Court bench warrant and another warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
