A total of 101 people – 77 walkers and 24 volunteers – participated in the Third Annual Ruck for the Fallen fund-raiser on Saturday. Starting at the Orion War Memorial, participants walked 23 miles along M-24 until they reached Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4139 in Lapeer.

The walk raised approximately $5,500 for Project Brotherhood Resolve, whose mission is to address homelessness and suicide in the veteran community.
