Rosemary Audrey Valentine, of Oxford Village, passed away on Aug. 25, 2018 in the care of Grace Hospice and family members. She was 74.  Rosemary was the beloved wife of late husband, Russell Howard Valentine, daughter of Julia T. (Bingham), and Joseph Linstruth, and Sister of late, ‘TJ’ Linstruth, late Sharon Kamm, and Jan Overley.

She was a loving Mother to Russell Lee Valentine, Phillip Alan Valentine, and Mark Steven Valentine, and like daughter, Christine Marie Valentine.  Her legacy will proudly continue in the hearts and minds of her grandchildren, Elise Marie Girdis (18), Zachery Phillip Valentine (15), and Maxwell Lucas Valentine (14).

Rosemary lived every day to its fullest, finding joy in each moment, though facing great losses of loved ones during her life.  Amidst these challenges, her faith was strong and her desire to experience the precious gifts in life, steadfast.  She showed gentle care to everyone who knew her and touched the lives of many with her generosity, empathy, and kindness.

A memorial service will be held at the Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ in Oxford at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.
