When it comes to fashion, most folks usually look for the latest trends on runways in Paris, Milan and New York.
But on Oct. 3, all eyes were on the runway at the Boulder Pointe Conference Center as the Oxford Women’s Club held its annual fashion show to raise money for its scholarship fund.
A total of 190 people attended to view clothing and accessories provided by The Boulevard Boutique, located at 5 S. Washington St. in downtown Oxford, and Kim Rose Fashions in Grand Blanc.
Models for the evening included Kathy Brain, Pam Brooks, Jill Brzezinski, Debby DeLong, Ni DeAnglis, Paula Foster, Renee Hill, Sharon Karll, Maria Mason, Aileen Meyer, Janie Peasley, Sylvia Rhodes and Cathy Wendt.
The event netted approximately $4,000 to help Oxford area students continue their education after high school.
In addition to providing scholarships, the Oxford Women’s Club, founded in November 1932, donates to the Senior All-Night Party, the Girls State program and Oxford-Orion FISH. To learn more about the organization, please visit oxfordwomensclub.com.
