Oxford Village Council President Sue Bossardet, 73, was cited for failing to yield in a crash that occurred on Oct. 17 at the intersection of W. Burdick and Hudson streets.
According to the village police report, Bossardet, who was driving a 2017 Ford Escape, was in the process of turning left off W. Burdick St. onto Hudson St. when the passenger side of her vehicle was struck by an oncoming 2013 Jeep Wrangler headed east on W. Burdick St.
The Jeep, which had the right of way, was driven by a 50-year-old Oxford man.
Bossardet’s Escape came to rest on its side and she was transported to McLaren Regional Medical Center with what appeared to be minor injuries, according to the report.
