ADDISON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING FOR TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARING

AND THE 2019/20 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET

Please be advised a Public Hearing for Truth in Taxation and a Public Hearing for the 2019/20 fiscal year budget will be held on February 11, 2019 at the regular scheduled Board meeting. The meeting will be held at the Addison Township Hall, located at 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard, MI. 48367. The meeting shall be called to order at 6:00 p.m. by the Supervisor with the public hearing to follow shortly thereafter.

Public Hearings:

1. Truth in Taxation: “The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.”
2. The Budget Public hearing will cover the estimated expenditures and revenues of the 2019/20 fiscal year. The budget shall be presented for public comment.  The Board may review, discuss or amend.  A Budget will be adopted by a general appropriations resolution at the March 18, 2019 Board meeting.

Public attendance and participation at the meeting is encouraged and welcomed. Copies of the draft budget are available at the Clerk’s office, to inspect, review, and/or purchase during office hours. Please contact the Supervisor’s office with questions or written comments concerning the budget.
