Throughout the 2019-20, School of Choice will remain unlimited for most grades and schools throughout the district. The decision was unanimously approved by the board of education during its Feb. 12 meeting.
In all five of the district’s elementary schools, Oxford Middle School and the ninth grade at Oxford High School, enrollment through School of Choice will remain unlimited. Students in the 10th and 11th grades at OHS will also have unlimited enrollment to International Baccalaureate (IB), fine arts, engineering and health sciences classes.
At Oxford Schools Early College (OSEC) School of Choice will be open for ninth through 11th grade students.
Oxford Virtual Academy (OVA) will continue accepting students of any grade through school of choice or shared-time classes.
The board of education is scheduled to meet next on Feb. 26 at OHS. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m.
