Richard Luhr Medaugh, of Oxford Village, passed away peacefully in the company of his family at his home on Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was 85.

Mr. Medaugh was the son of the late Russell Luhr and Angela Medaugh.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Delores, brother John and sister-in-law Mary.

He is survived by his sons Richard Charles (Nikki Ann), Peter Russell (Lesley) and daughter Susan Louise (Robert Miskovich).

Mr. Medaugh was the owner of Medaugh’s Department Store in downtown Oxford and later was a sales representative for General R.V. Center in Waterford.

A funeral Mass will take place at Dominican Sisters of Peace, 775 W. Drahner Rd, in Oxford Township on Thursday, March 14 at noon.

The Revered Father John Maksym will serve as celebrant.

Visitation will held at the church two hours prior to the funeral Mass and celebration of his life from 10  a.m. to noon.

Burial ceremonies will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Cemetery on W. Burdick St. in Oxford Village.
