Folks are invited to attend a community Good Friday service beginning at noon on April 19 at Oxford United Methodist Church.

Jesse Holt, lead pastor of LakePoint Community Church, will deliver the sermon. Pastors Rochelle Brekenmeyer and Bob Holt will be providing music. There will be a special offering to benefit Oxford-Orion FISH.

The service is being hosted by the Oxford-Orion Ministers Association (OOMA).

OOMA is a loose-knit group of local pastors that’s been meeting and working together since the 1990s. It coordinates community services for the National Day of Prayer, Thanksgiving and Good Friday.

Oxford United Methodist is located at 21 E. Burdick St. in the village.
