Addison firefighters spent their Saturday morning honing their skills and adding to their knowledge during a live-fire training exercise.

As part of this, they burned a house at 1055 Noble Rd., near Haven Rd., to the ground. The house was built sometime in the late 19th century, according to township Supervisor Bruce Pearson.
