The Oxford Fire Department will host its annual open house on Sunday, Sept. 8 from noon to 4 p.m.
It will be held at Fire Station #1, located at 96 N. Washington St. in the village.
Activities will include a smoke house, exploring the fire trucks and ambulances, meeting firefighters, spraying a fire hose, fire extinguisher demonstrations, face-painting, CPR station, free vital signs check, speed drills, extrication and drone demonstrations and a visit from a medical helicopter (weather permitting).
Certified car seat technicians will also be available to offer their expertise.
Refreshments, including hot dogs, chips and cookies, will be served.
