Gloris Karen Fitch, age 83, of Oxford died in her home with her family on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. Karen was married to her late husband Ted for 38 years. She worked in insurance sales for 35 years. Karen loved to golf, bowl, line dance, movies, play cards, and her family. Karen served on the Oxford Board of Review for many years.
Karen is Survived by her daughters; Denise Smith, Cindy Young, and Kathleen Bearslee; Step-daughter Cindy (Mike Puttnam) Brundage. Loving Grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted in January, daughter Deborah Kelley, granddaughter Danielle Kelley, step son Randy Fitch, and six siblings.
Memorial contributions maybe made to the Leader dogs for the Blind, or to Operation Smile for Cleft Palate surgeries. The family had a private interment at Oxford Township Cemetery. A memorial service that was planned following her death has continued to be delayed due to the ongoing restrictions related to the pandemic. The family is hopeful to have a memorial service in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Lynch and Sons, Oxford.
