Victoria Harrell of Oxford has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2021 Dean’s List. The winter term runs from January to May. Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to that list.

Elisabeth Summers, a Senior Accounting major from Oxford, was among approximately 800 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List. The Dean’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

Carter Lewis of Oxford, was one of 19 Career Technical Education (CTE) students from across Oakland County awarded funds from Oakland Schools’ prestigious Scholarships for Success program. Scholarships for Success is organized by the Oakland Schools Education Foundation (OSEF) with the goal of helping to provide CTE students who have attended one of Oakland Schools’ four Technical Campuses (OSTC) with financial assistance to attend college, trade school or an apprenticeship program. Carter was awarded $500.

After attending Oakland University for just three years, during which he was an Undergraduate Research Program award recipient excelling in math and sciences, Vincent Casetti received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He also received the 2021 ACS (American Chemical Society) undergraduate award in Physical Chemistry for Oakland University, and has been accepted into the University’s fall PhD program for biomedical sciences; health & environmental chemistry. Vincent is the son of Martino and Diana Casetti from Clarkston. Diana (Podsiadlik) Casetti was the valedictorian of her Oxford High School’s graduating class. Vincent is also the grandson of Thomas and Christine Podsiadlik, Addison Township residents for over 40 years.
