Two cars collided shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9 at the intersection of Teelin Dr. and Lapeer Rd. Both drivers involved were taken to hospitals by the Oxford Fire Department, who said the injuries were not fatal.
According to a crash report by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred when a red Hyundai tuning into Teelin Dr. did not yield to an oncoming black Toyota traveling southbound on Lapeer Rd. The Toyota is reported as having been driven too fast at the time.
Both drivers are from Oxford and no passengers were in the cars.
