The first Tuesday morning of every month is a great time to meet new business contacts and community members at Coffee Connects. The networking series organized by the Oxford Chamber of Commerce changes location each month to a different business or organization. This month it was held in the courtyard at Oxford Village offices Wednesday, Sept. 8, a day later due to the Labor Day holiday.
From 8 a.m., attendees pour a cup of joe, gather in a circle, introduce themselves, then mingle informally for an hour or so.
“I’m new in town, so it’s a good way to meet people,” said Kip Bickel, a real estate agent from Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
The next Coffee Connect will be Oct. 5 at Independence Village of Waterstone/Oxford, at 701 Market St.
