Students with a 3.5 GPA are invited to join the National Honor Society at the end of their sophomore year. Students must demonstrate that they are of good character, have held multiple leadership roles both in and out of school, have participated in co-curricular activities both in and out of school, and that serving the community has been an important part of their lives.
At the induction ceremony, students take an oath to uphold the four pillars of the National Honor Society: Scholarship, Leadership, Character and Service.
