PUBLIC HEARING
Special Assessment District for
Lena Hill & Burns Hill
A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at a Regular Meeting of the Addison Township Board of Trustees at Township Complex, 1440 Rochester Road, Leonard, Michigan at 6:00 pm.
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow the Township Board to hear objections to the creation of the Special Assessment District as provided by Public Act 188 of 1954 for maintenance of the private road known as Lena Hill & Burns Hill and confirmation of the petition for sufficiency.
The assessment roll and documentation are available at the Township Offices during regular business hours for public inspection. Appearance and/or written protest at the hearing held to confirm the special assessment roll is required in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment to the Michigan Tax Tribunal.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
ADDISON TOWNSHIP
LAKEVILLE CEMETERY COLUMBARIUM’S AND SITE WORK
JOB NO. AD34-001
Sealed proposals will be received by the Addison Township at the office of the Township Clerk, 1440 Rochester Road, Leonard, Michigan 48367 until 10:00 A.M. local time (EDT), on Monday, May 2, 2022 for construction of this project. Proposals are to be delivered to the Township Clerk’s Office in a sealed envelope marked on the outside as described in the Instruction to Proposers. All proposals received shall be opened at the Township offices at that time. The Board shall review the proposals received at the May 16, 2022. Board meeting at the Township Hall, commencing at 6:00 p.m. Your attendance is encouraged to respond to any questions the Board may have concerning your proposal.
Project Description:
The project is located at Lakeville Cemetery, 825 Drahner Rd south side of Drahner Road, between Walker Road and Rochester Road. The project site is located along the south property line within the Lakeville Cemetery, adjacent to the existing gazebo. The project includes the installation of precast concrete pavers, flagpoles and uplighting, concrete pavement, raised precast planters, landscaping and concrete footings for (5) columbarium units provided by others.

Digital copies of the RFP package (drawings and specifications) are accompanied with this invitation via email. Also, on the Township website www.addisontwp.org under the tab, RFP. A pre-Request for Proposal virtual meeting will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is strongly recommended. The Township reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any proposal, to reject in part any proposal and to waive irregularities in proposals. No proposal may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving RFP’s for a period of one-hundred-twenty (120) days.
