Oxford Township Parks and Recreation will operate a new farmers market starting next spring. According to a notice from Oxford Township’s social media page, “In preparation for the Spring 2023 grand opening of Oxford Township’s new 4,000-square-foot farmers market in Seymour Lake Park, the parks and recreation department is inviting potential vendors to fill out and submit an interest form. The form can be found (online) at tinyurl.com/y4mtb2r4.”

The parks and recreation already runs a community garden which helps local residents “experiencing food insecurity.”

The new farmers market will help with that endeavor and provide another outlet for “distributing free, fresh produce harvested from Oxford’s community garden.”
