ADDISON TOWNSHIP NOTICE
Code of Ordinances Text Amendment

The following is a summary of the adopted ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances as follows;
THE TOWNSHIP OF ADDISON ORDAINS: AN ORDINANCE 23-1 TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES as
follows: APPENDIX A, ZONING, ARTICLE 7a, Suburban Farms District to add section 7a.04.10
The following text amendment is offered in the SF Suburban Farms District. The amendment adds
“public library” to the uses permitted by special approval.
Add Section 7a.04.10 to read:
SECTION 1.
10. Public Library.
a. The lot shall be located adjacent to a paved public road with direct and lawful access to that paved
public road.
b. The site shall be shielded in accordance with Section 4.26.
c. Parking shall be provided as required under Article 26.
d. Any and all lighting shall be shielded away from the public right-of-way and from adjacent lot lines.
SECTION 2. Violations and Penalties.
Violations and Penalties remain as referenced in the Code of Ordinances Chapter 1, Section 1-7 (d).
SECTION 3. SAVINGS.
SECTION 4. REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS.
SECTION 5. SEVERABILITY.
SECTION 6. EFFECTIVE DATE: Thirty (30) days after publication of a true copy or summary
hereof.
