Letter carriers for the United States Postal Service across the country collected food items for the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. According to Emily Logan, local carriers from the Oxford Post Office collected about 11,000 pounds of food this past Saturday. Logan said the food was divided and donated to food programs for Oxford-Orion FISH and the Immanuel Congregational Church on Hovey Street. Pictured at the loading dock behind the post office on E.
