Zoning Ordinance Amendment

To the residents and property owners of the Township of Oxford, Oakland County,
Michigan, and any other interested persons;
Public notice is hereby given that the Zoning Ordinance allowing existing medical
marihuana provisioning centers to operate as adult-use marihuana retail facilities has been adopted
by the Oxford Board of Trustees on June 14, 2023. The Amended Zoning Ordinance will take
effect ten (10) days after the date of Adoption. Copies may be purchased or inspected/reviewed
during regular business hours of regular business days at the Township offices located at 300
Dunlap, Oxford, Michigan. A summary of the proposed amendments are as follows:
Amendments to the ordinance include: Zoning Ordinance 67A: Section 2.2 Marihuana
Definitions; Section 3.4(O) MP Marihuana Provision Overlay; Section 3.5(J) Marihuana Uses
Table; and 5.35 Marihuana Uses (A) through (D), Purpose and Intent, Prohibited; Marihuana
Growing, and Medical Marihuana
The full text of the City of Oxford Township Amended Zoning Ordinance is available for
purchase or inspection/review at the Oxford Township Clerk’s office at 300 Dunlap, Oxford,
Michigan, during regular business hours of regular business days. A complete copy of the
Amended Zoning Ordinance also is posted in the following public places:

The zoning ordinance amendments shall take full force and effect ten (10) days after the
adoption of the Ordinance by Board of Trustees which occurred on June 14, 2023. The Oxford
Township Clerk does hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct summary of the
Township’s Amended Zoning Ordinance, adopted at the regular meeting of the Oxford Township
Board of Trustees Meeting held on June 14, 2023. Documents pertaining to the adopted ordinance
may be inspected, reviewed or purchased at the offices of the Oxford Township Clerk’s Office 300
Dunlap, Oxford, Michigan., at all times said offices are open for business. Anyone needing a
special accommodation should contact the clerk’s office at least 2 business days in advance.
