Want to learn more about Addison Township’s building codes and ordinances?
You’re in luck!
A quarterly newsletter has been introduced within the township for just this purpose.
The newsletter will shed light on the answers for frequently-asked questions to local residents, according to Building Official and Inspector Douglas Lowe.
“They’re going to be able to find specifics about building codes and ordinance issues. As of right now and it will be the run-of-the-mill (questions) that we get ordinance –wise and building department questions. We’re trying to answer as many of those as possible in there.”
Lowe, who was appointed to the position in February 2017, added that he’s grateful for the help of Addison Township Deputy Supervisor Martel in bringing the newsletter to light.
“It’s an idea that I wanted to implement since I took over the department several months ago. Our office manager, Jaime Martel, is very experienced at this sort of thing. She put this together and did a fantastic job with it,” added Lowe.
