PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice to the citizens of ATLAS TOWNSHIP, Genesee County, Goodrich, Michigan. The ATLAS TOWNSHIP BOARD will hold a public needs hearing on the use of its 2015 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds on October 20, 2014 at Atlas Towsnhip Hall, 7386 S. Gale Rd., Goodrich, MI. The CDBG Public Hearing will be one of three (3) Public Hearings held in succession beginning at 6:30 p.m. The CDBG Public Hearing will be the last public hearing following two preceding hearings for special assessment districts. The purpose of the CDBG public needs hearing is to offer citizens an opportunity to express their ideas on community needs and project proposals concerning the use of Federal CDBG funds for the 2015 Program Year. The estimated 2015 allocation for Atlas Township is $39,695.00. The CDBG hearing will also provide an opportunity for citizens to comment on past CDBG projects. The regularly scheduled meeting of the Atlas Township Board will commence immediately following the CDBG public hearing. Physically challenged persons needing assistance, or aid at the public hearings should contact the Township Clerk during regular business office hours not less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meetings.
