On Saturday, folks gathered in Addison Township’s historic Lakeville Cemetery, established in 1843, for a Memorial Day observance. Music, prayers and heartfelt speeches honored America’s military heroes who’ve died on battlefields, both foreign and domestic, since the 18th century.
Oxford High School held its commencement May 24 at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Independence Twp. It was an evening filled with inspirational speeches, fond memories, big hugs, hearty handshakes and more than a few tears of joy. Congratulations and good luck, graduates. Go Wildcats!
