Back-to-back crashes downtown

A car accident in downtown Oxford slowed traffic on the afternoon of June 24.
A 2003 white Pontiac was stopped at Stanton Rd. Traffic heading northbound on Washington St. stopped to allow the driver to go across.
Traffic heading southbound was not clear as she tried to drive across four lanes to get to Dennison St.
The driver collided with a vehicle in the far lane at 3:45 p.m. The car in the far lane ended up on the curb and another car collided with the Pontiac at the same time.No injuries were reported. One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution because she had a prior injury.

An hour later, an accident occurred at S. Washington Rd. and Mechanic St.
A 40-year-old Oxford man was driving his white Buick Rendevous northbound on S. Washington when he suffered a seizure. His vehicle crossed over into southbound traffic and struck a black Chevy Trailblazer, driven by a 48-year-old Lake Orion woman. She was not injured.
The Buick continued forward and crossed over the sidewalk and ran into the cement porch of Discount Flooring at 65 S. Washington St. The driver was taken to POH Regional Medical Center.
