The Wildcat Booters had their second tie of the season after a 1-1 match against Macomb Lutheran North Oct. 3
‘Senior captain Emmanuel Ibarra got the only goal for the Wildcats off of some nice work and assist from sophomore Nick Wright,? Coach John Thaler said. ‘Junior keeper Connor Bandel earned seven saves in the draw.?
Earlier in the week the boys suffered their first loss to Lake Orion, where the Dragson won 3-1 on Sept. 29, but the next day they returned to their winning ways when they beat Hazel Park 8-0. Goals were scored by junior Greg Knox (2), senior Drew Connelly (2), senior captain Emmanuel Ibarra, senior Keegan Konkle, senior Noah Skrzycki, and sophomore Bradley Bayley.
The Wildcats record is 5-0-1 in the OAA Blue and 13-1-2 overall. The boys will face-off against Fenton at home Oct. 9 at Wildcat Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
