Brandon Township assault and armed robbery

Brandon Twp.- A Clarkston man plans to press charges after being scared for his life recently at a vacant log cabin in the township.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Brandon Substation Detective Chris Pacholski is currently investigating the incident, which may involve charges of felonious assault, armed robbery, and breaking and entering.
According to police reports, on June 17, around 11 p.m., the victim was driving home on I-75 when a former friend called him and gave him turn-by-turn directions to the cabin, located in the 3600 block of Grapevine. When the man arrived, the former friend was there, along with three other men, two of whom were also former friends of the victim and another, unknown man.
The victim offered the use of his cell phone to the unknown man and 10 minutes later, the man told the victim he had lost the phone. One of the former friends then went to the closet and removed a pistol, claiming it was a .45 caliber. The suspect began ‘talking trash,? saying he’d shot and killed two ‘dudes? in Pontiac the night before. The unknown suspect took the gun, took out the magazine and a few bullets and put the magazine back in.
The victim suggested going to look for the phone, when the suspect who had originally gotten the gun out took it back from the unknown suspect and pointed the gun at his face, pulling the trigger a few times. The victim ignored him, and went outside to start and move his car. He turned off the car and left the headlights on to search for his phone. The unknown suspect came out and turned the headlights off and went back in the cabin. The victim then found his keys were also missing.
Around this time, a Buick arrived with two more men and three girls. Back in the cabin, the former friend who had called the victim to begin with, sucker-punched him and punched him a few more times. While the victim lay on the floor, the others poured beer on him and threw full beer cans at him. The suspect, who had originally taken the gun from the closet put it to the victim’s lips, and the suspect who had called the victim took his wallet. He was asked if he wanted to die, while he pleaded to be given his keys and let go.
Deputies observed the man had a badly bruised right eye and, with his assistance, found the location of the log cabin, which matched details he had given them.
