Bruce Lee Whitaker passed away June 8, 2002 at his home in Leonard, Michigan. Born June 30, 1954 to the late Bryce Whitaker Sr. and Nelda Whitaker.

Bruce was the loving husband, best friend and her Prince to Margie Whitaker. He leaves behind his children, Bruce Lee Whitaker Jr., Sean Allen, Linda and Scott Magyar, Chad Allen and Derrick and Shelly Whitaker; his beautiful grandchildren, Payton Allen, Samantha Allen, Rendino Degorio, Joey Allen, Jacob Allen, Cole Allen, Nicholle Allen, Lilly Whitaker, Gage Whitaker, Xander Whitaker and Harrison Whitaker; great-granddaughter Naylani Coleman; siblings, best friend and brother Mike Hetchler, Bryce and Terri Whitaker, Becky and Steve Banas, Joy and Chris Hadley. He was preceded in death by his sister Rhonda Whitaker.
A memorial service is on Friday, June 17, at 6 p.m. at the Oxford Free Methodist Church, 790 S. Lapeer Rd, Oxford. Pastor Don Lusk will be officiating.Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, Oxford.
