The Wildcat hoopsters lost their OAA crossover game to Ferndale by a score of 65-55 on Feb. 5.
‘It was a close game until the fourth quarter,? said Oxford Head Coach Dave Brown. ‘Ferndale picked up the defensive pressure in the fourth and our offense couldn’t respond.?
Leading the Cats in scoring were Jeam Linares and Ray Luvine, both of whom scored 16 points.
The Wildcats will travel to Farmington next Thursday for an OAA blue match-up.
‘We are going to have to play much better than we have in the past two weeks. Farmington has solid athletes and have improved since the last time we played them,? Brown said. ‘It should be a good game and I hope we are able to put it all back together and earn a win.?
