As always, the Lone Ranger Parade was the highlight of the year in Oxford. It consisted of 94 spectacular entries. Hats off to the all-volunteer Lone Ranger Posse for doing another bang-up job.

Based on the unofficial results from Oakland County, newcomers Margaret Payne and Elgin Nichols won the Republican primary race for trustee seats on the Oxford Township Board.
