Concerts are back!

Downtown Oxford’s popular Concerts in the Park series returned to Centennial Park last week. The Randy Brock Group kicked things off with some classic rock. Concerts are held from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday. There’s an open microphone period from 6-7 p.m.  

Businesses buy body cams for village cops

Six local businesses along S. Glaspie St. pooled their resources and made a $5,400 donation to the Oxford Village Police Department last week to purchase body cameras for its officers. Just a reminder, beginning July 1, the Oxford Village offices, located at 22 W. Burdick St., will be closed on Fridays.
